there’s a feeling I get, when I look to the west,
and my spirit is crying for leaving

life is difficult
you can't force it, can't 'will' it to be
doesn't work like that
You get to this point, later on … where the stakes are raised
and the returns diminish, a compromise if you will.
Lot's of wisdom, learned a lot
so what?
Where every day, awakening, thinking wow ok
Another one, like walking around knowing
that this could go sideways in a real hurry
and that balancing will become difficult
the inevitable
that familiar 8am scuffle to the toilet
arm stretch to the ceiling
coffee, computer
eat, swim
this lamb thing is kinda cool
maybe I should just
run w/that

Ok. It would be a preference
Where letting go can be more natural and less painful
I wish it could be but why? It’s the challenges that
enrich us, make us stronger … make us believe
that the unthinkable … can be done
and what it was all for ... to savour
the human connection
surviving and being able to tell the story
Is all the fun
